We are all about skills, not names. if you’re good, you will suit perfectly! please never take offence if we decide not to use you on our events, this may be simply not suiting genre wise.

The equipment at the current location is CDJ1000′s MK3′s and a Pioneer DJM 700. please ensure you are comfortable with this equipment before applying to play for us as wish to keep laptop use to an absolute minimum.

The underground scene has just got better & our aim to give local as well as further afield artists a platform to play for us and our extremely talented crew.

One Friday a Month EU residents will be welcoming outstanding local talent & headliners to join them behind the decks as Essential Underground aims to put Friday nights back on the raving map.

It’s been a brilliant journey to date for both Essential Music and Underground sessions. we want to send very special thanks to all those who along the way who have contributed behind the scenes or been part of the liveliest, vibiest crowds that rocked our past. EU will be taking Friday nights by the scruff of the neck and re-ignite that Friday feeling. For all those who because of work obligations are missing out on the musical havoc Book it off in advance.

The first artist kicking of the guest spot on John’s show is the excellent Stuart Higgins. Read on.

John Martin will start his 2Hr show with a guest launch on this Fridays Emotions Show so get ready for the superb Stuart Higgins manning the old ones and twos.

Like most dj’s starting out, the Vinyl addiction took over. Higgins began developing his technique in his teens, Going to endless events h…anding out countl…ess mix tapes he mastered his style playing at parties by request.

was then offered a residency at ‘The Edge’ in Sheffield,Building the skills to play along side djs such as Mickey Finn,EXL,brokie and many more……….. But he felt there was a gap, something missing, a new direction?
He would tell you that ‘the turning point came from Sasha and John Digweed, hearing their style and track selection he was hooked. Following the influences of Brian Transeu, Blue Amazon but most of all the highly acclaimed 7 ways album by Paul Van Dyke.

Playing at venues all over the UK,Europe and far east,such as Sankeys,Time,Nocturnal,Twisted and at the dance valley event in Holland, allso currently runs a night called Definition which showcases at venues around the uk.

Unique style, diverse and technically skilled he’s found his direction. Adding to his endless dj-ing he’s beginning to work on his own material so look out for some quality realeases by him very soon!! His aims are high his ear for music is second to none and his dedication is always programmed at 110%

In less than a months time we will launch our new Friday club night Essential Underground. It is to be launched in Belfast’s highly recommended venue Brownes, Boucher Road which already hosts Belfast’s top Trance nights, Quest.

Our aim is simple to build a venue for locals to play and rai…se the bar to headliners that will blow your socks off.

Essential Music Promotions and Underground Sessions got their heads together and came up with Deep Shit –a night that’lL likely draw scene kids in their droves to EU Belfast.

DJ John Martin will be among those manning the decks on the opening night. His set will be accompanied by non other than Jony Golledge, Tom Cole, Stevie Hillis, Perception and the excellent young and very talented duo Rick Rules & Arron A.

We are looking for Dj’s for future events so show support and share EU. a place for deep, intense party music.”

John Martin and Guests bring you a new Monthly serving of The Emotions Show.  The show is all about a blend of Nu-Disco, Funk, Tech, Deephouse and Progressive.

Any 1 thats heard John will no exactly what he brings to the table with his diverse talent and ear for awsome quality music.  He weaves his way through the genres with smooth and effecient mixing,  making the tracks glue together as if they were 1.  Emotions is the target.

John’s main aim and dream in life would be to be a professional Dj and producer. His first 2 tracks have been signed by Recode Recordings and will be out very soon. Even though Johns name is known throughout Belfast, he wants to venture to this side of the pond and make his mark, he is definitely one to watch for the future.

Sonar Bliss Records was formed in 2012 and are an independent label focused on releasing the very finest underground House and Techno. The SBR team have over 50 years combined experience within the EDM industry and in that time have covered facets ranging from number one hits on almost every online music store to organising and promoting some of the most talked about underground events to hit the UK.

Miami House Party teamed up at the end of 2011 as a DJ / Production duo after knowing each other for many
years, both on a friendship level and a musical relationship.  Call it fate, but these guys work great together,
reeling out some top uplifting, big room sounds whilst not forgetting those memorial club classics. 2012 telling the tail of the pair’s sound, already gaining a lot of feedback from some of dance music scene’s global players including Fran Crosgrove, Mat Batur, Jupiter Ace, Greg Downey, Paul Mclean & Phil Taggart (BBC Radio one & Across the Line), Elizabeth Jay, Hayley Parsons  & many more. So far the major highlights for Miami House party have been, BBC Radio One featuring one of their tracks “clockwork”, exclusive interview on Belfast’s Blast 106 FM, video interview for local music podcast team and a record deal with Lukes Club Records in Germany; home to artists such as The Futuristic Polar Bears, Axwell, hardwell and Avicii!
